Seeed Studio’s reBot Arm B601 is a “True Open-Source robotic arm designed to lower the barrier to Embodied AI learning. It fully open-sources both hardware and software – including dual arm versions (Robostride and Damiao), complete mechanical design files, a detailed BOM, and support for Python SDK, ROS1/2, Isaac Sim, Pinocchio, and LeRobot – enabling developers, students, and educators to easily build and explore real-world robotics applications.
RS Disassembly Kit is the DIY (unassembled) configuration, shipping with the included power supply so you have everything needed to build, calibrate, and run the arm out of the box.

Fully Open-Source: A truly 100% open-source robotic arm – certified under CERN-OHL-W 2.0 – in both hardware and software. It includes BOM lists, hardware drawings, software, and algorithms; everything you need.
Detailed Assembly Tutorials: As a DIY disassembly kit, it ships with extremely detailed illustrated and video assembly tutorials, wiring instructions, calibration procedures, and environment deployment guides, lowering the entry barrier for robot development.
High-performance motors: 4à RobStride RS-00 (14 N·m) + 3à RobStride RS-06 (36 N·m) high-torque, low-noise quasi-direct-drive actuators deliver stable, precise power output for the reBot Arm B601-RS.
Framework Compatibility: Supports mainstream robotics development frameworks such as ROS1/2, MoveIt 1/2, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Hugging Face LeRobot, and Pinocchio.
